Description

Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH with its company seat at the airport Berlin-Schönefeld was founded in 2018 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair.

The Irish airline is, at the moment, operating an aircraft fleet of more than 450 modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will, until 2027, further expand. Additional 150x 737 8200 have been ordered to be delivered between 2027 and 2030.

Our highly trained and dedicated engineering team is responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircraft based in Germany.

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to cover theoretical and practical training delivery. This is a new role to teach and mentor new Engineers, on their practical skills in a live operational aircraft environment, to further enhance and develop their maintenance skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer who is passionate about aviation and enjoys teaching a wide range of practical aircraft engineering topics to maintenance engineers.

Responsibilities

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:

Delivery of technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standard, includes but not limited to:
Delivery of theoretical and practical training to Part 145 & 147 standard.
Delivery of all technical training associated with business needs.
Delivery of line induction and assessment to new starters.
Preparing technical training and development of our current courses.
Development of instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
Extensive ability to develop effective training material.
Be capable of delivering technical and practical training.
Ability to test and assess individuals on their practical & theoretical competence, skills and ability.
Review company procedures/regulations relevant to the training being delivered (practical hand skills on operational aircraft and training equipment, classroom, eLearning, & Virtual)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training
Clear communication (written & oral) and presentation skills to meet the above- mentioned training requirements.

Requirements

Must hold an EASA Part 66 Licence or have evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training, on either 737/A320 aircrafts.
Must be able to meet requirements to deliver Part 145/147 training
Willing and able to work shift to mirror line engineer’s roster.
Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams
Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to face, virtual)
Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner
Must hold a valid EU passport and happy to travel where the business requires.
