Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in May 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair’s growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.
The Opportunity:
PAM Ire Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic in our facility in Shannon. Reporting to the Check/Zone Supervisor the successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion of routine and non-routine aircraft structures tasks.
Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with the MOE and company procedures.
Maintain awareness and ensure best practices are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Adherence to all company procedures, regulations, and safe working practices
Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check/Zone Supervisor
Requirements
A minimum of two years aircraft structures experience is essential.
Previous hands-on heavy maintenance experience along with extensive knowledge of base maintenance activities.
Experience in working on Boeing 737 NG / MAX is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Good Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel etc.
Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment
This role will involve Shift Work (including nights)
