Accountable Manager of Urbe Aero Flight Academy

Lorenzo Mezzadri is a highly experienced aviation training professional with over 20 years in flight education, safety, and human factors. As Accountable Manager and Co-Founder of Urbe Aero Flight Academy, he has played a key role in shaping pilot training programs, including the first MPL program in Italy in collaboration with Alitalia, ITA Airways, and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority.

With a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, Lorenzo specializes in Human Factors, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and pilot performance coaching. He has trained and mentored airline captains, instructors, and aviation leaders, working closely with major carriers such as easyJet, Wizz Air, and ITA Airways.

Beyond flight training, he serves as President of the Italian Flight Safety Committee (IFSC), actively contributing to aviation safety policies with EASA, ENAC, and major industry stakeholders. His international career spans Europe, the Middle East, and Russia, where he has worked with leading airlines, regulatory bodies, and aerospace institutions.
