Kassandra Stultiens Zandstra

Boeing 737 instructor, Owner of Go-Around Aviation Consultancy

Kassandra Stultiens Zandstra is a passionate aviator who began her aviation journey as a teenager. Over the years, she has built an impressive career, gaining experience in various roles, including check-in/gate agent and Boeing 737 load controller at KLM. In 2005, she joined Transavia as a flight attendant, and within a year, she earned her place in the cockpit as a First Officer on the Boeing 737.
Kassandra spent eight fulfilling years flying for Transavia, during which she also contributed to the industry as a Flight Safety Instructor for six years and as a Crew Support Officer for a season. Unfortunately, her time in the skies as a pilot came to an unexpected end when she lost her medical license.
Undeterred by this setback, Kassandra channeled her expertise and love for aviation into teaching. She started as a Technical Knowledge Instructor for ATPL subjects at a Spanish ATO.
Today, she works as a freelance Boeing 737 Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) for various ATOs, inspiring and guiding the next generation of pilots.
In addition to her work as an instructor, Kassandra is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the industry. She recently launched a program dedicated to supporting women during flight training, empowering them to soar the skies with the confidence that someone always has their back.
