Juan Carlos Lozano is a seasoned Airline Pilot with over 15,000 flight hours. Currently an Airbus A320 Captain for Iberia Airlines, he has held significant roles in the international pilots’ community, including Deputy President of the International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations (IFALPA) and Vice-President of the European Cockpit Association (ECA).

Being a keen advocate of aviation safety, Juan Carlos is an Accredited Aircraft Accident Investigator and has served on the ICAO Safety Management Panel and advised on the ICAO Safety Information Protection Task Force.

Today, Juan Carlos serves as Technical Director of ECA.
