With over 26 years’ experience in aviation, Carl started his flight school training in Stockholm, Sweden and begun his career operating on turboprop aircrafts. After 10 years working for various companies, such as MaxAir, Airbus and Royal Mail, he joined easyJet in 2004 based in Berlin. After only 2 years flying as a First Officer he became a Captain and now flies alongside his role as Base Captain in Berlin Schönefeld.

The airline supports a number of local charities and also has a corporate partnership with UNICEF which has raised over £13m for the most vulnerable children since it was established in 2012.
