Worms University of Applied Sciences has approximately 3,700 students studying in the three departments of computer science, tourism/transportation and economics. The Department of Tourism/Transportation was founded in 1978 and is today one of the most well-known and renowned of its kind. The bachelor’s degree program “Aviation Management and Piloting – dual” in cooperation with the European Institute of Aviation and Business GmbH (EIAB) enables students to obtain the commercial pilot license for airplanes or helicopters parallel to their university studies.
By combining pilot training and business studies at university level with a focus on the aviation industry, students are prepared for a professional career in the air, but also in the management of an airline or other aviation-related companies and institutions.
