Fabian Steinmann is a PhD researcher at the Safety and Accident Investigation Centre at Cranfield University. His research investigates the resilience of the air transport industry and focusses on the disruption management of airlines. The motivation for the PhD comes from his passion and research interest in developing safety concepts and mitigation strategies. He is aiming to analyse the internal processes and procedures of airlines to ensure a safe and efficient operation after a disruption.
Fabian holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and completed research programmes in England and the USA during his studies.
